Happy birthday to a huge PoP supporter, Sophia Bush! Today is a really special day for Sophia, not just because she’s turning 30, but also because for her birthday this year she decided to raise $30,000 for Pencils of Promise in order to build a school! Sophia Bush is donating her 30th birthday to Pencils of Promise! After a recent visit with PoP to Guatemala, Sophia set a goal of raising $30,000 to build a school there. She asked all of her supporters, fans, family, and friends to donate whatever they have to help make her birthday wish come true, and it did! 5 days early, Sophia was able to raise $30,000 to make her birthday wish come true! Sophia is fund raising as an ambassador of our upcoming “Impossible Ones” campaign which officially launches on August 1st.

Sophia was blown away that she was able to raise the $30,000 and decided that she didn’t want to stop there. Her new goal? Build a second school! So, want to give Sophia a birthday gift? You can donate here and help her reach, and even surpass her second goal!
