One Tree Hill and now Partners actress, Sophia Bush, has been a huge friend and supporter of Pencils of Promise, and we are so thankful for her! At the Young Hollywood Awards this past Thursday, Sophia was honored with the Bing Philanthropy Award for all of the ways she’s given back. Read more about it below…

On June 14 at the Young Hollywood Awards, a night to honor the best and brightest of young Hollywood, Sophia Bush was honored with the Bing Philanthropy Award. Giving back has always been very close to Sophia’s heart and she’s supported many different non-profits over the years, including pouring a lot of support into Pencils of Promise. She recently returned from a trip to Guatemala to work with our team there and see all the work PoP is doing!

The PoP team just wanted to give a huge congratulations to Sophia on this honor! She is a truly amazing woman, and we are so lucky to be able to work with her! Thanks so much for everything you’ve done for us, Sophia!
