School Builds
A school building is just the beginning.
Why Infrastructure?
We believe that a quality physical space is critical to fostering learning—so we build classrooms in partnership with public school systems and communities in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos to ensure that all students have access to a safe and healthy place to learn.

SCOUT COMMUNITIES
Before construction begins, we work alongside Ministries of Education and community leaders in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos to identify potential partner communities with a high need for safe and reliable infrastructure.
ESTABLISH PARTNERSHIPS
We establish partnerships with communities who are deeply committed to their children’s education. We then work closely with each community to best understand their needs and create an infrastructure plan that aligns with everyone’s expectations.
BUILD TOGETHER
Each community commits to contributing up to 20% to a construction project through labor and/or materials, such as sand, gravel and water. Together, community members work alongside local contractors to build over the course of several months.
PROVIDE ONGOING SUPPORT
We build schools from the inside out. The physical space is only the start of a transformative education experience. PoP maintains a relationship with each community to ensure the longevity and sustainability of each project, and the overall education outcomes of each student.

Long-Term Vision
Our long-term vision is that our holistic model will be fully adopted and incrementally scaled by Ghanaian, Guatemalan and Lao education systems beyond their partnership with PoP.
Help Us Get There
100% of all schools with PoP-supported build projects remain open and operational to this day — help us maintain that sustainability.
