PoP Global Ambassadors

PoP Global Ambassadors are committed to helping children across the globe receive access to quality education, changing the fact that 250 million children worldwide lack basic reading or writing skills. Our Global Ambassadors have a wide range of talents and achievements, but they are all passionate about giving back and dedicated to making the world a better place. We are thrilled to work alongside them to create a lasting, life-changing impact through education for students, teachers and communities in the developing world.

Justin Bieber

International superstar Justin Bieber has donated millions of dollars to PoP, which funded dozens of schools and provided access to quality education for thousands of students around the world. In 2016, he donated $1 for every ticket sold during his “Purpose” tour to PoP, to help further its mission of increasing access to quality education in developing communities around the world. Thanks to Justin’s generosity, PoP was able to expand its reach from the Volta Region into the high-need Eastern Region of Ghana. Bieber previously donated $1 of all ticket sales from his 2010 “My World” tour and 2012 “Believe” tour to PoP and in 2013, visited one of his schools in Guatemala to experience his impact firsthand.

Olivia Culpo

Fashion and beauty influencer, Olivia Culpo was named a PoP Global Ambassador on her 2016 trip to the Boca Costa region of Guatemala with PoP. While in Guatemala, Olivia visited 6 PoP communities, which serve over 2,000 pre and primary school children who would otherwise not have access to a safe, structurally sound learning environment. During these visits, Olivia met with PoP teachers, helped break ground on a new school made possible by Stuart Weitzman, painted classrooms with members of the local communities and participated in welcome and celebratory ceremonies. As a strong role model, Olivia’s passion for helping others is evident in her commitment to Pencils of Promise.
