Can't Attend?
Creating safe and healthy learning environments is a critical part of PoP’s mission. By providing clean water, quality restrooms, and handwashing stations, PoP is helping students miss fewer school days and improve the health of all community members. There are currently more than 200 schools in the PoP network across Ghana, Guatemala, and Laos that don’t have WASH programming – help us close this gap and create stronger schools.

About the Cause
Pencils of Promise was founded in 2008 with $25 and a dream. What started as one school in 2009 quickly spread across the world—a global movement fueled by the mission of education for all.
Since then, we have built 589 schools across Ghana, Guatemala and Laos, and we are currently providing more than 230,000 students with access to quality education.
PoP’s impact collectively reaches more than 875,000 students, teachers, parents, and communities around the world and we’re just getting started.
